New book from Toula Mavridou-Messer

Bestselling author Toula Mavridou-Messer has just contacted me to let me know she's just released a new book, completely different from her brilliant Gratitude book (read here) 

 

Instead this is her true story, covering her traumatic childhood. The book's promo material says:

'Sexually abused by her mother's partner from the age of five for fifteen years, Toula, a successful television producer, former Senior Head of Celebrity Ambassadors at The Prince's Trust and bestselling author, developed the lifelong condition of severe complex PTSD.
Pulling no punches in this powerful and true short story, Toula discusses why she spoke up, what triggered her to speak up when she did and the results of doing so.'

 

She told me, 'It started out as a blog post a few years ago, when it became relevant to speak up. At that time, the post got a great deal of attention (all positive) and many people encouraged me to write a full-length version.'

She's converted it into a Kindle Short Read, around 3,300 words /20 mins reading time, and I've yet to read it. However others have, here's one review:

New book by Maximilian Sam

Great news! 

Lovely author Maximilian Sam has just let me know that his new book, 'It's a stray dog's life 2' is now available for pre-order. 

 

It follows on from the book I reviewed in August - read that post here - but in overview I said:

Sneaky peek at 'Thread Weaver'

 

I'll have another book review and author interview available for you next week, from the talented Jess Frankel. He has penned over 50 books and writes in the genres of Young Adult, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Romance, Action and Paranormal.
